Trip to Washington

We kicked off our summer with a visit to Josh's family in Washington.  It was so beautiful there that I had a hard time getting him home again!  Josh has some wonderful grandparents that we were able to see also.

My mom pointed out one day that Evie was dressed almost exactly like her new doll.  Then I remembered a similar photo shoot I took of Nora with her new doll at about the same age- also in matching jammies!

Shakespeare Week

Nora's school celebrates Shakespeare for the last full week of the school year.  Nora was more than thrilled to get to wear her Halloween Costume again.  This was the day that "Queen Elizabeth" visited the school and  we curled Nora's hair for the occasion.

Mothers' Day

The night before Mothers' Day I talked Josh into taking us on a carriage ride around our temple.  Through chatting with the driver we found out that we were probably in the same carriage that we rode on our wedding day.  The kids were a little out of control (what else is new?) and kept asking the driver if his name was 'Sir Topham Hat' (he was wearing a top hat) but we still had a great time.
